| About Us... Married in 2003, a second marriage for both of us, Rich & I have an interesting life together. When he's not feeding animals and tending the farm, Rich is a Systems Analyst for Merrill Lynch in Hopewell, NJ. He's an active member of our local Coast Guard Axillary, and powers his pride and joy, a Maxum Cruiser in the Barnaget Bay, New Jersey in his spare time. We love to fish, and are still trying to find out where all the @#*! fish are hiding... But, he's such a good sport, we even go dancing in costume at the BCBS R&B Halloween Show! Until 2006, I was a Traditional Guardsman with the NJANG 108th Air Refueling Wing... My favorite past-time was working with our farm animals and my horse Typhoon. We won 1st prize in an October costume contest, aren't we a sight? We have three guard dogs that watch over our herd: a Maremma Sheep Dog named Sofie, and two Great Pyrenees named Sadie & Bombay. Not to mention the barn cats, house dogs, house cats, and horses. Our two boys are grown, and help with the farm on occasion. They're doing their thing now, but Rich was very active with the Somerset 4H while his son was young. He excelled in 4H & swimming competitions. My son didn't have the 4H opportunities but excelled on the rifle range in national junior competitions, and mastered several instruments while participating in the school's marching band. Raising quality Boer Goats is our retirement plan, full-time management is still several years down the road, but we've decided to work with a small herd for now. Well, thanks for taking the time to visit our site, and good luck with your ventures! Jill & Richard P. Walley |
